Bottomless Beer @ the 1st Annual Cowgirl Kicker Cook-off/Car Show

Fire up the pits, polish up your ride, and get ready for your stretchy pants! The 1st Annual Cowgirl Kicker Rowdy Roast Cookoff/Carshow is this Saturday, January 27, benefiting our very own McNeese Cowgirl Kickers! It will be held in Parking Lot A (East of the Alumni Center) near the Football Stadium. There will be a motorcycle and car show, live entertainment, beer, and lots of food to sample.

The contest will have contestants cooking up baby back ribs, brisket, and a mystery dish based on the contestants choosing. Cooking begins at 12am Saturday morning (that's right, they're going to cook it low and slow) with samples ready for the public at noon Saturday. Prizes for the cook-off will be 1st-3rd and an Overall BBQ Grand Champion will be crowned based on the "People's Choice".

The Motorcycle and Car Show will be held alongside the Cook-off, with the top 10 selected rides being featured in the Cowgirl Kicker Calendar.

Entry into the Cook-off is $250 per 4 man team and you provide your own meat.

Car show entry is $20 per vehicle.

Tickets to the event are $10 per person ($5 with McNeese ID).

For an additional $20, you can purchase a Souvenir Cup and receive free refills on beer during the event.
