Gator 99.5 supports our local artists here in Southwest Louisiana and always has, from doing live concerts at events like our Mardi Gras parking lot parties to our annual Big Game party, rodeos, and more.

We always try to feature our local artists playing at our events. Plus, we support them over the air with our daily weekday feature called Hometown Country where we highlight our great local talent and play their songs.

One of those artists is our good buddy, Brad Brinkley. He has been performing all over Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas for many years. Brinkley is pure country, y'all.  His love of classic country shines through at all his shows.

His band is called Comfort Zone and features a steel guitar. Tell me how many country bands you see nowadays with a steel guitar in the band. Hardly any.

Brad has released a few albums in his career that have spawned some pretty big regional hits like Table For Two, I Hope It Hurts, and Lucky Him, Lucky Me.

Well, Brad has been in Nashville lately recording some new music and just released his new single called Me, Myself & I. He says jokingly that this song is part of a three-song set he is going to release called the divorce trilogy.

Brad has been playing this song live for the past couple of years but finally got the time to get into the studio to get it recorded. We featured it on Hometown Country here on Gator a couple times already, but now you will be able to get it for yourself soon.

Brad told us that the new single Me, Myself & I will be available on all the music platforms later this week so make sure you check for it. It's a great song and you need it for your collection.
