Calcasieu Parish DA Stephen Dwight Announces Transition

In a press release from newly elected Calcasieu Parish District Attorney Stephen Dwight, he announced he has begun his transition into his new position. During this time, Dwight has tapped retired school administrator, Van Richmond, to head up his transitioning team. On the current DA's side, John DeRosier has appointed Patsy Dugas to serve on behalf of DeRosier's team to work together with the newly elected DA's team.

Dwight says he he is excited to begin and that DeRosier's team has been helpful during the transition time. He is looking forward to getting to work officially on January 11, 2021.
