CPPJ Hosting A Drive-Thru Rabies Vaccination Clinic
The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is hosting a drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the West Cal Arena & Events Center. The clinic will run from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and it’s designed to be quick and easy for everyone. You won’t even have to get out of your car, as workers will give your pet the shot while you stay inside your vehicle.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost is very affordable. If your pet is already spayed or neutered, the fee is $8. If your pet is not, the cost is $10. Microchipping will also be offered during the clinic, giving pet owners another way to protect their animals.

- All dogs and cats over 3 months old must get a rabies vaccine
- Pets must also be licensed after vaccination
- Pets are required to wear their rabies tag at all times
- All cats must be in a portable kennel
