You never know what can happen in the Southwest Louisiana area when you go out and watch some live music. Last Friday night, Beauxdines' restaurant in Lake Charles hosted a big concert with Jamie Bergeron & The Kickin' Cajuns.

Before the show in typical Jamie Bergeron fashion, Jamie walked around shaking hands, greeting fans, and thanking folks for coming out to the show. There were two Calcasieu Parish deputies working security for the event.

We don't know if Jamie talked to the deputy or if someone told Jamie that the deputy could play the accordion or what, but somehow he found out and this is what happened.

Jamie and the band hit the stage around 7:00 pm for the sold-out show on the patio in Lake Charles. Jamie and his band had the crowd dancing from the start of the first song. Well after about an hour or so, Jamie called up the Deputy and asked him to play.

The deputy hit the stage and here is what happened which shocked the entire sold-out crowd:

How good was he? He was terrific and folks were shocked to see just how good he was and see him jamming on stage like that.

After he finished the song, he received a standing ovation from the sold-out crowd. The crowd started chanting one more song, one more song. So the deputy laughed and say why not so he played another song.

The Deputy posted it on his Facebook page and said,

My good friend Jamie Bergeron put me on the spot lol while working his show haha
Good times with Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin' Cajuns!!!
We spoke with the deputy after the show and found out that he comes from a talented musical family. He told us his dad played with the popular local band City Heat for years and he liked playing the accordion. To us, it looks like he may have future entertaining folks.
