Cameron, LA [KNGT-FM] - One of Southwest Louisiana's most anticipated outdoor traditions is making its return as the 22nd Annual Cameron Fishing Festival reels into Grand Chenier for two days of fishing, live entertainment, family activities, and community fun.

Hosted by the Cameron Lions Club, the festival is scheduled for August 7-8, 2026, at Grand Chenier Park, located at 142 Jim Bonsall Road. The annual event celebrates the region's rich fishing heritage while bringing together anglers, local musicians, vendors, and families from across Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
