Carly Pearce’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” Cover is Breathtaking

Last Friday, Cary Pearce released a cover of one of the most forgot about songs by one of the most forgot about bands ever, in my opinion. She did an acoustic version of the Dixie Chicks' Cowboy Take Me Away. Sweet Jesus, it's amazing!

I won't go into the history of the Dixie Chicks, but I will tell you they were the best. The song was the second single from their 1999 Album, Fly. It was written by Martie Maguire, one of the chicks. When it was released, it slammed its way to the top of the Billboard country chart to number one.

Now, we can hear Pearce's version, and hopefully others will appreciate how amazing this song truly is!
