Country Legend Charlie Daniels is known for his fiddle playing and high-powered songs and shows. What you might not know is that the Country Music Hall of Famer has a little side band.

Charlie and his side band, the Beau Weevils, released an self-titled album in 2018 with a song and now a video that mentions Lake Charles.

The song is called Geechi Geechi Ya Ya Blues and Charlie decided to call up some of his famous friends to revive the song. They made a music video for it they're calling the Quarantine Edition.

You will see in the video some of the legends in country music including  Lorrie Morgan, Collin Raye, Larry Gatlin, Crystal Gayle, Rhonda Vincent, TG Sheppard, T. Graham Brown,  Alabama's Randy Owen, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Ray Stevens.

The song talks about towns in Louisiana including Lake Charles, our food like gumbo, and Charlie Daniels even tries his hand at singing French words in the song.

About 2 minutes and 24 seconds into the video, you will hear Charlie sing about Lake Charles and our police department. You have to check this out and let me know what ya think!
