Christmas Gift Card Tips

You can't go wrong with giving someone a gift card, or can you?

The Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry shared a few gift card giving tips to keep you on the nice list this Christmas.

According to KPLC, these eight gift card tips will save you from a holiday headache:

• Purchase from known and trusted sources
• Read the fine print
• Gift the receipt as well
• Consider the financial condition of the retailer or restaurant
• Note the terms and conditions
• Keep card’s terms and conditions in a safe place
• Report lost or stolen cards
• Request expired cards be replaced
