Hurricane Ida really came and went leaving so much destruction behind. Lake Charles was also on high alert as we simply were on pins and needles from our ordeal on last year. Lake Charles did what they were suppose to do and that is to move things around in the case that we would have been the place that was hit by Hurricane Ida.

Thankfully we were not and now things can get back to it's regular schedule. One of those things will be the return of services including trash and garbage pickup. For those whose trash was normally picked up on Monday, the route will now be Tuesday August 31. The Tuesday route will be picked up on Wednesday, September 1. The Thursday and Friday routes will run as normal. If you would like to keep up with the latest closures or changes pertaining to news in Lake Charles.
