Get ready Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana as country music sensation Clay Walker is making his return to Lake Charles in October.

The Vidor, Texas native is coming back to the area to play all of his biggest hits for you. After graduating from Vidor High School in 1986, Clay Walker got his start playing the honky tonk bars in Beaumont, Texas. One of his biggest hangouts to play in was called the Neon Armadillo.

He was discovered in late 1992 by a record producer from Warner Music Group/Giant Records out of Nashville and as they say, the rest is history.

In 1993, Clay Walker released his first single What's It To You which rocketed straight to #1 on the charts. His follow-up single Live Until I Die also jetted up to the #1 spot. So early in his career, Walker already had two number one hits with his first two records.

Since then, Walker has had huge hits with songs like Dreaming With My Eyes Wide Open, I Could Make A Living Out Of Loving You, This Woman And This Man, Hypnotize The Moon, Rumor Has It, Then What?, Fall, and She Won't Be Lonely Long.

Clay Walker will be performing live on Saturday, October 8th at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center. The show will begin starting at 8:00 pm. Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 1st, 2022 starting at 10:00 am.
