Collective Soul Is Bringing Their Biggest Hits to Lake Charles This Weekend!
If ya grew up in the 1900's like me and Mike, there is a good chance ya you pick up on keywords like "Shine" or "Where the River Flows". If those ring a bell to you then you have got to be a fan of Collective Soul. If you are a fan then I've got good news for you! They will be making a stop here this weekend in Lake Charles at the Golden Nugget.
The band will hit the stage this Friday July 3rd with doors opening at 7:30 and the show starting at 8:30.

How long has Collective Soul been around?
Can you believe Collective Soul has been making music for more than 30 years now. That's pretty rare these days. Most bands from that era have either called it quits or only play a handful of shows. These guys are still putting out new music while filling setlists with songs everybody knows.
And let's be honest. This is one of those concerts where you don't realize how many hits a band has until they start playing.
"Shine."
"December."
"The World I Know."
"Heavy."
"Where the River Flows."
One after another. Collective Soul has sold millions of albums over the years and racked up eight No. 1 hits. They were also one of only a handful of artists that played both Woodstock '94 and Woodstock '99. That's a pretty cool piece of rock history.
Their latest album has a story of its own. It was recorded at Elvis Presley's former estate in Palm Springs, California. Believe it or not, Collective Soul is only the second music artist ever allowed to record there. That's something not many bands can say.
With the Fourth of July weekend getting started, this feels like the perfect way to kick things off. Grab a few friends, head out for dinner, then spend the night singing along to some of the biggest rock songs of the '90s and 2000s.
I have a feeling there are gonna be a whole lot of people leaving that show with sore voices... and probably not caring one bit. If you're a fan of good, straight-up rock music, this is one concert you'll want to circle on the calendar.
