Legendary Comedian Jay Leno Is Coming Back To Lake Charles

[KNGT-FM] - Another week, another big concert announcement made. The lake area is getting more and more big names coming to the area. The biggest names in country, rock, and comedy are penciling in the lake area as a must-stop location to perform a concert.

The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles is filling up their calendar this year, and there are a ton of great shows heading to Lake Charles. It was just announced that the comedy legend Jay Leno will be stopping in Lake Charles to perform at the Golden Nugget in 2026.

Jay Leno began his comedy career in 1976, performing stand-up in nightclubs and venues across the country. His big break came when he was chosen to succeed Johnny Carson as host of The Tonight Show on NBC.

Leno hosted the iconic late-night program from 1992 to 2009, took a brief hiatus, and returned for a second stint from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, comedian Jimmy Fallon took over as host and host The Tonight Show to this day.

Jay is also well known for his passion for cars and owns one of the most impressive collections of rare and vintage automobiles in the world. In 2014, he brought that enthusiasm to television with his CNBC series Jay Leno's Garage.

He later hosted the game show You Bet Your Life for two seasons, from 2021 to 2023. Since then, Jay has returned to his roots, touring the country and performing stand-up comedy once again.

Jay will be performing at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 am.
