Comedy Legend Jay Leno Is Coming Back To Southwest Louisiana
Who likes to laugh? How about laughing with a comedy legend? It was just announced that legendary comedian and former host of the Tonight Show on NBC Jay Leno is coming to Kinder, Louisiana for a big night of comedy.
Jay Leno started his comedy career in 1976 doing stand-up in nightclubs and venues all over the country. He got his big break when he was tapped to replace Johnny Carson on NBC's The Tonight Show. Jay hosted The Tonight Show from 1992 to 2009 then took a year off before returning to host the show in 2010 until 2014.
In 2014, Jimmy Fallon was named Jay's successor on the show and Jimmy Fallon is still the current host of The Tonight Show on NBC.
Jay is also known for being an avid car enthusiast and owns some of the rare cars ever made. He even hosted his show called Jay Leno's Garage in 2014 which aired on CNBC.
Jay also went on to host the game show You Bet Your Life for two seasons, from 2021 until 2023. Since then, Jay has been hitting the road and going back to his roots by doing stand-up comedy shows again.
Jay will be performing live at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 and he will be inside the Coushatta's Entertainment Center inside of the Coushatta Casino. The doors will open at 7:00 pm that night and the show will start at 8:00 pm. Tickets are on sale at 10 am this Friday, July 26th at Ticketmaster.com.
