Concerts And Halloween Parties This Weekend In Lake Charles & SWLA
The weekend is finally here folks and even though Halloween is next week, there are concerts, costume contests, and events going on all over the area to celebrate the holiday.
Are you looking to have a date night and see live music? Or are you ready to get dressed up in your Halloween costume and go to a party and even win some money for the best costume? If so, then we have made a list for you of concerts, live music, and Halloween parties going on all over Southwest Louisiana.
Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana will be holding its annual Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday night, October 26th, 2024. It will take place inside the Coushatta Entertainment Center located inside the casino. You can win $5000 in cash for first place. They will also be giving prizes for 2nd through 10th place. Registration begins at 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm and judging begins at 9:00 pm. It is free to attend the party and enter the contest.
The McNeese Cowboy Rodeo Team is hosting its rodeo at the Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles. There is a performance Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Click here for more info and tickets.
Sammy Kershaw will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Friday, October 25th, 2024 in Lake Charles. You can hear Sammy sing all his big hits like Oklahoma, Yard Sale, She Don't Know She's Beautiful, and Queen Of My Doublewide Trailer to name a few. Sammy will hit the stage at 8:30 pm on Friday.
Also at the Golden Nugget on Saturday night, the Blue Martini will host its 2000's Pop Star Halloween Party. If you plan to go, they ask you to dress to the theme. They will be having a costume contest with first place taking away $1500.
L'auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles will also be holding a Halloween party and costume contest at Johnny Sánchez on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am. They will be giving away cash for the best costumes. For first place, you could win $600 cash, $400 cash for second, and $200 cash for third place. It is also free to enter the costume and free to get into the party.
