Concerts & Events In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend Nov. 1-3

Can you believe that it's the first weekend of November already? How crazy is that? We are just fresh off of celebrating Halloween, but if you didn't get enough fun in one night, we have a list of things going on all over Southwest Louisiana this weekend.

Rusty Metoyer will be playing the Cowboy Block Party on the corner of McNeese and Common Street in Lake Charles on Friday night, Nov. 1, He will hit the stage at 7:30 pm and the doors open at 6:00 pm. Here are the details. 

DeRidder, Louisiana native and country music artist Chris Cagle will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center Friday night November 1st singing all his big hits. Tickets may still be available at the Golden Nugget Box Office.

The McNeese Cowboys football team is finally back home for a game after being on the road for almost six weeks. They will host the Texas A&M Commerce football team inside Cowboy's Stadium for Homecoming. Kickoff for the game is at 7:00 pm.

The Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA is putting on a Living History Cemetery Tour on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. All ages are welcome. Tickets can be purchased at www.artscouncilswla.org.

Doc Wilder will live at The Boardwalk on East McNeese Street in Lake Charles in the same shopping center as Mancave Salon. Doc will hit the stage at 7:00 pm and play until 10:00 pm.
