Farmers' Markets are going on Saturday morning all across Southwest Louisiana, including Lake Charles and Moss Bluff. Both markets are open from 8:00 am until Noon on Saturday morning. The Lake Charles market is situated behind historic City Hall in downtown Lake Charles. The one in Moss Bluff is located at 325 Sam Houston Jones Parkway. You can shop with the entire family for unique items while also getting fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Allen Joyner Men Wear Pink Wing Cook-off and Day of Music is taking place Saturday, Sept. 27, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Coolers Ice House on Ryan Street in Lake Charles. The event is to raise money for breast cancer. You can expect pink drink specials, raffles, a silent auction with fabulous items to bid on, contests, live music throughout the day, and other fun activities.
