
Here’s What Is Going On In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend Oct. 10-12
Lake Charles, La -[KNGT-FM]- Well, looky here. The weekend is here, and we have all been waiting for it. Some of you may have a three-day weekend coming up with Columbus Day being celebrated on Monday.
If you are lucky enough to have Monday off, then enjoy your three days and get out and do something fun. We have taken a look around, and here is what we know is going on this weekend in the lake area.
Country music Icon Travis Tritt will be live in Lake Charles at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Friday night. He will take the stage at 8:30 pm that night, and tickets for the show may still be available at ticketmaster.com or at the Golden Nugget Box Office.
The Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, is having its annual Coushatta Carnival. It runs Friday through Sunday in the parking lot of the pavilion at Coushatta. Get all the details here.

Farmers' Markets are going on Saturday morning all across Southwest Louisiana, including Lake Charles and Moss Bluff. Both markets are open from 8:00 am until Noon on Saturday morning. The Lake Charles market is situated behind historic City Hall in downtown Lake Charles. The one in Moss Bluff is located at 325 Sam Houston Jones Parkway. You can shop with the entire family for unique items while also getting fresh fruits and vegetables.

Jamey Johnson will be live Saturday night in Lake Charles when he makes a stop at L'Auberge Casino Resort for a big show. Jamey will hit the stage at 8:00 pm that night. Tickets for the show may still be available at ticketmaster.com or at the L'auberge Casino Resort Box Office.
