From the start, Corey Kent seemed destined for a career in music. Influenced by a wide range of musical genres and performers as a child, Corey began his musical career at a young age. Opening for iconic bands like Roy Clark and The Oak Ridge Boys, Corey achieved early career milestones as a lead singer for a traveling Western Swing band, which took him on stage at the age of 11.

He began booking shows in and around his hometown of Bixby, Oklahoma, a few years later, and at the age of 17, he moved to Nashville. Corey is originally from Dallas, Texas.

Corey is known now for his smashing single "Wild As Her."

You can catch Corey Kent live in concert right here in Lake Charles on Saturday, July 20th as he will be performing at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center.
