After over a year of quarantine, social distancing, and having nothing to do, concerts and festivals are back in Southwest Louisiana.

Starting at the end of this month, you will be able to get back out there to see concerts and attend festivals again. Memorial Day weekend, Mark Chesnutt will be in Lake Charles on May 28.

In June, Country artists Travis Tritt and Gary Allan will be in Lake Charles. Then,  Hank Williams Jr., Ashley McBryde, Neal McCoy, and Stoney Larue will all be in the area.

Get ready for some great festivals coming your way, too. Some are new festivals that have never taken place before, while some of your old favorites are coming back.

The Cowboys Country Fest is set for Saturday, July 3 inside the McNeese Cowboys football stadium with local artists like Charlie Wayne and Johnny Jimenez, and national acts like Frank Foster and Drake White.

We also believe the Marshland Festival will be back this year after a year off. It is one of the biggest festivals in the Southeastern United States and take place for two days at the Lake Charles Civic Center usually on the last weekend of July.

Get ready, Southwest Louisiana . It looks like we are getting back to normal with some great entertainment coming our way and concerts to go see and enjoy. Get out there and have some fun!
