Such is the case with the big announcement that was just made at country newcomer George Birge is making a stop in Lake Charles later this year in 2024 at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center.

So far this year, the Golden Nugget already has Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Corey Kent, Stoney Larue, Chris Lane, Ashley Cooke, John Anderson, Parmalee, Randall King, Sammy Kershaw, Gary Allen, Brett Young, Dwight Yoakum, and Mark Chesnutt all on its calendar of concert events for 2024.

George Birge was just added to the list and Birge hit the country music scene last year and produced two big hits already early in his career. You will know his songs Cowboy Songs and Mind On You who both hit the charts.

According to the Golden Nugget website,

George Birge is an American country music artist. From 2013 to 2020, he was one half of the duo Waterloo Revival with Cody Cooper. Birge began recording independently in 2021. After his independent release "Beer Beer, Truck Truck" went viral on social media in 2021, Birge signed to Records Nashville. "Mind on You" became his first charting single on Billboard.

George Birge was born in Austin, Texas. He began singing when he was 14 years old and began writing songs with his friend Cody Cooper when both were still teenagers. The two separated after high school but reunited in 2013 when Cooper returned to Austin to visit his family. From 2013 to 2020, the two recorded on Big Machine Records as the duo Waterloo Revival.
