For most of 2020, we have been locked down with no festivals, events, or concerts to go to. We are all hoping this will change real quick, as most of us are ready to get out of the house and see some live music.

I mean, Louisiana folks are very social people and we love to see our friends, have a few, and dance to some great live music Well, it looks like the Golden Nugget is ready for that as well, as they have announced a new concert coming to the area.

Country music's Ashley McBryde has been booked for a big show in Lake Charles on Saturday, April 10. The 37-year-old singer has taken the country music world by storm over the past few years.

Even though Ashley is new to the country scene, she has been at it since 2006, trying to score a hit and a record deal in Nashville.

Ashley's first big hit played on national country radio was released in 2017 called A Little Dive Bar In Dahlonega. The song not only vaulted McBryde onto the national scene, but also landed in the top 30 on the charts.

She followed that hit up with the song Girl Goin' Nowhere, which received a lot of air play across the country. She has been a regular at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville while touring around the country until the pandemic hit.

Ashley McBryde is slated to play at the Golden Nugget on Saturday, April 10 in the Grand Event Center with showtime set for 8:00pm. Tickets range from $35 to $50 dollars, and we went and looked at the seating map.

It looks like the seats are set for social distancing purposes to keep concert goers safe. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 15.
