Country Singer Riley Green To Throw Out First Pitch At LSU Baseball Game
The Defending National Champion LSU Tigers are getting set for a HUGE SEC Series this weekend as the Florida Gators are coming to town. It appears a country star could be throwing out the first pitch tonight at the game.
The Defending National Champions are off to a solid start in 2024 as the Tigers are 18-4 on the season. LSU didn't get off to the best start in SEC Play as they dropped the conference opening weekend to Mississippi State. The Tigers look to rebound this week at home.
Alex Box Stadium has had a busy last few weeks after just a week ago the Savannah Bananas used the stadium for three days. It was three straight sellouts for the Bananas.
Riley Green is a country music singer. Having signed with BMLG Records in 2019, he has put out two albums: Ain't My Last Rodeo in 2023 and Different 'Round Here in 2019. Four of Green's songs, "There Was This Girl," "I Wish Grandpas Never Died," "Half of Me" (co-written with Thomas Rhett), and "Different 'Round Here" (co-written with Luke Combs), have reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.
In a video posted on Friday, Riley Green said he would be throwing out the first pitch at the LSU/Florida game on Friday Night.
