Coushatta Casino Resort Re-Opening Popular Steakhouse

Coushatta Casino Resort has announced the return of the Big Sky Steakhouse. The steakhouse was closed as the folks at Coushatta renovated the popular eatery and redesigned and reimagined the restaurant. Check out all the pictures and the menu here.

Coushatta Casino Resort sent out a press release describing the changes and the experience you will have when the steakhouse reopens. They said,

“Our goal was to bring the best of Louisiana to a steakhouse setting,” said Chef Matthew Beard. “I grew up in this region and have a strong connection to the area, which is why leading the team at Big Sky Steakhouse is deeply personal to me. Our custom cuts, dry-aging process, and commitment to Louisiana flavors make every dish stand out.”

They have updated the menu as well. It features a 24oz Cowboy Cut Bone-In Ribeye, Pan-seared black drum, and Red Snapper Calcasieu, fried green tomatoes with lump crabmeat and crawfish, and the Big Sky Burger, crafted from dry-aged beef. 

The grand re-opening of its Big Sky Steakhouse will be on Monday, August 4, 2025. The Big Sky Steakhouse is located inside the Casino floor area, close to the entertainment center where they have concerts.
