
Coushatta Crossroads Festival Unveils Star-Studded 2026 Music Lineup
Kinder, LA [KNGT-FM]- Summer is just around the corner, and in Louisiana, that can only mean one thing: it's festival season. Across Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana, July will once again be packed with live music, dancing, incredible food, and thousands of visitors traveling in for some of the biggest celebrations of Cajun and Zydeco culture in the South.
One festival leading the charge this summer is the wildly popular Coushatta Crossroads Festival in Kinder. Over the years, the event has transformed from a regional gathering into one of the premier Cajun and Zydeco festivals in the Southern United States.

Every summer, thousands of music fans make their way to Coushatta Casino Resort to experience a full day of nonstop entertainment, dancing, and Louisiana culture under one roof. This year’s festival is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, especially with the entertainment lineup they have put together for the 2026 event.

Wow, what a lineup! The festival takes place inside the pavilion at Coushatta, which is located directly behind the casino. The doors for the festival open at noon, and the music gets underway at 1:00 p.m. with Alphonse Ardoin kicking off the party.
From there, a new band will hit the stage every hour, keeping the music rolling all day long with accordions, fiddles, washboards, and the infectious rhythms that define Cajun and Zydeco music.
