Coushatta Halloween Costume Contest Returns In Kinder, Louisiana With Big Cash Prizes

Can you believe that October is right around the corner and when October hits, everyone starts focusing on Halloween? This year Halloween is on a Thursday night which means most casinos and bars will celebrate the holiday the weekend before the big day.

Such is the case with our friends at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. They have announced that their big Halloween bash and legendary costume contest will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, this year. It is one heck of a party with some big money up for grabs.

Dress up in your funny, scary, or favorite celebrity and vie for the top prizes of $5000. That's right, the first-place prize is $5000. Here is what you can win that night.

I have had the honor to judge this contest before and will do it again this year alongside my morning show partner, Scotty. We will be some of the judges again at the Halloween costume contest again this year along with some of my other radio friends from Lafayette.

The judges will be Mike Soileau, and Scotty Schadler along with Fast Freddie, CJ, and Renee from Lafayette station Big 102.1. DJ Tyski will be hosting the vent and rockin' the music as well.

On Saturday, October 26th, which is the night of the event, you can register from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Coushatta Entertainment Center. Judging begins at 9:00 pm. No group entries—only individual and couple contestant entries will be accepted.
