COVID-19 Testing Locations In SWLA

We have a list of new and already existing COVID-19 testing locations here in SWLA.

First of all, for the latest information on the coronavirus in SWLA and/or to talk to someone who can determine whether you need to get referred for testing by your primary physician, call 211.

COVID-19 TESTING SITES:

Moss Memorial Clinic: 1000 Walters St, Lake Charles. This site is not a walk-in clinic.  You have to be referred by your primary physician.

The SWLA Health Services: 2000 Opelousas St, Lake Charles. This site is not a walk-in clinic. You have to be referred by your primary physician.

 Testing hours: M,W,Thurs 9:00am - 4:00pm. Tues 9:00am - 6:00pm. Fri 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Burton Coliseum Drive-Thru: 7001 Gulf Hwy, Lake Charles. A doctor's referral is not needed.  This site is for high risk persons that have symptoms like fever of 100.4 degrees or higher and shortness of breath or a cough.

  Testing hours: March 31 through April 2nd 9:30am - 3:30pm.

High Risk Persons Include:

• Age Over 60
• Lung Disease
• Heart Disease
• Diabetes
• Immunocompromised Diseases (HIV, Cancer/Chemo, Dialysis, Transplant recipient, or currently on medication that suppress the immune system)

West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital: 701 Cypress St, Sulphur. This site is not a walk-in clinic. You have to be referred by your primary physician.

 Testing hours: M-F 8:00am - 6:00pm. Sat-Sun 8:00am - 2:00pm
