The McNeese Cowboys baseball team is off to a great start in this young 2025 season and will have a big game tonight when the inner state rival Ragin Cajuns from UL Lafayette comes to town for a showdown.  Both teams look to knock off the other in this big Louisiana rivalry game.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team is off to a 5-1 start in 2025. They took out of three games from Wichita State and followed that up with a three-game sweep of Oakland this past weekend in Lake Charles. The Pokes were supposed to take on Texas A&M last week, but the game was canceled due to weather.

Looking down the 2025 schedule for the Pokes, they will travel to Lafayette on March 12th to play game two with the Ragin' Cajuns. The Cowboys also have other notable games taking on LSU in Baton Rouge and the Houston Cougars in Lake Charles.

They will welcome the Ragin' Cajuns of UL LAfayette to Joe Miller Ballpark tonight. The Cajuns baseball team is off to a 4-3 start on the season. They have won three out of their last four games and two of the games were against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
