Cowboys Stay Undefeated In Conference After Weekend Sweep

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team stayed perfect in Southland Conference play after sweeping the weekend series against Stephen F. Austin in Lake Charles.

The pokes beat Stephen F. Austin 4-1 on Friday and 8-4 Saturday.  Then on Sunday the Cowboys completed the sweep by ten run ruling Stephen F. Austin 11-1 in 7 innings.

The pokes are a perfect 6-0 in Southland Conference play and 15-5 overall on the season.

This week McNeese will travel to New Orleans on Tuesday to take on the Tulane Green Wave at 6:30 p.m.  The pokes will return back to Lake Charles this weekend for a Southland Conference series against Nicholls.
