The McNeese Cowgirls shot an amazing 15 three-pointers Monday night to whip the visiting Southern-New Orleans in a blistering 106-54 win.

It was the first season win for the Cowgirls and the first 100 point game in the new H&HP Complex. I’m so proud of the girls, what a much-needed win for us tonight said head coach Kacie Cryer. Before the game, we talked about needing to come out relaxed and just go out there and play and have fun.

Five Cowgirls were in double digits for the evening Jr Reagan Bolton lead all scorers with 26, followed by Rayah Haynes, Kaylee Hughes, Maddisen Marten, and Divine Tanks. Redshirt freshman Callie Maddox added 17 tying her career high.

The 1-8 Cowgirls host Louisiana College Wednesday evening 19 December here in Lake Charles at H&HP Complex, tipoff is at 6:30 pm.
