McVey’s Seafood Crawfish Boil-Off: Entertainment Lineup Revealed

Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Let's face it. If you are from Louisiana, you love crawfish, live music, and a good honky tonk. It's the trifecta of having a good time in South Louisiana. Such is the case at this event that everyone looks forward to each year.

The 4th annual McVey’s Seafood Crawfish Boil-Off is coming back in May, and it will feature all the crawfish you can stand, live music featuring great bands, and a chance to prove that you can cook the best crawfish in South Louisiana.

Sara Leger and her husband Willie started this back in 2021 as a chance to get the community together for the things we love, which is hot boiled crawfish and having a great time. She has announced the date, location, and the entertainment lineup for this year's Crawfish Boil Off.

The 4th annual McVey’s Seafood Crawfish Boil-Off on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 11:00 am and going until 9:00 pm, will take place at Mary's Lounge located at 4017 Broad Street in Lake Charles. Get ready for a full day of good music, good people, and yes, crawfish!

11:00 am to 1:00 pm -- LoLo Boudoin & the Lakeview Playboys

1:00 pm to 6:00 pm -- DJ Derek Miller 

6:00 pm to 9:00 pm -- Steelshot

So you get some Cajun music to start, then the Dj will be rocking the tunes while you cook your crawfish, and then they will finish the night off with those crazy boys from Cameron Parish, Steel Shot.
