Diamond Rio Coming Back To Lake Charles, Louisiana in April

If you are a fan of 90s country, then we have just the thing for you! The 90s country band Diamond Rio is going on tour in 2023 and one of their stops on the tour will be right here in Lake Charles, La.

Diamond Rio burst onto the country music scene in 1990 and immediately made an impact on the industry. Their first release Meet In The Middle shot all the way to number one on the country charts.

They followed that up with Mirror, Mirror, Norma Jean Riley, In A Week or two, Love A Little Stronger, Walkin' Away, How Your Love Makes Me Feel, and a slew of other top 10's.

The band started in 1990 and back when they first started they were known as the Grizzly River Boys and then the Tennessee River Boys before becoming Diamond Rio.

They won countless awards from the ACMs like the Top Vocal Group in 1991 and 1992. They won the CMAs Vocal Group of the year in 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1997 and have been nominated for that award 15 times. They also have won a Grammy Award.

Marty Roe, the lead singer of Diamond Rio, and the rest of the boys will be coming to Lake Charles on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. They are set to play at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center that night. The show starts at 8:00 pm.
