The popular summer concert series is back in 2024 and will be better than ever.

For the past 25 years, the Lake Charles community has come to rely on this yearly event. The lineup for this year looks to be just as good as before.

The music takes over the downtown merchant's parking lot on the corner of Ryan and Broad Streets on four consecutive Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m., surrounded by tabletop art galleries, kid-friendly activities, and food booths for downtown eateries.

A different local or regional artist plays beloved music genres such as Swamp Pop, Cajun, Zydeco, and Classic Rock at each concert. A combination of well-known and up-and-coming musicians make up this year's band selection, which is sure to get the audience moving.

Downtown at Sundown features a ton of local live music, vendors, craft booths, arts, and so much more.
