The McNeese Men's and Women's basketball teams will be playing a double header this Saturday inside the Townsley Law Arena, taking on Incarnate Word. The women's game tips off at 1:00 pm, and the men's game will start at 4:00 pm. For tickets, head over to the McNeese Sports website here.

Aaron Lewis will be live in concert in Lake Charles this Saturday night at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center. He will take the stage starting at 8:00 pm, and you can check out ticket availability here.

Superbowl Sunday is this Sunday, featuring the Patriots taking on the Seahawks, and Walk-on's in Lake Charles will be open to the public except for the glassed-in patio area. The patio is closed for a private event. You can go watch the big game on tons of televisions.

You can go check out the Farmers' Markets in the lake area. There is one in Lake Charles located at 1911 Bilbo Street at the Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center. There is another one in Moss Bluff located at 325 Sam Houston Jones Pkwy. Both Farmer's Markets are open every Saturday from 8:00 am to Noon.
