Foret Tradition To Headline The Malcolm Boudreaux Benefit Fundraiser
Vinton, LA [KNGT-FM] - When a family faces an unexpected hardship, Southwest Louisiana has a long history of stepping up to help. Time and again, neighbors, friends, businesses, and strangers come together to support those facing difficult circumstances.
This weekend, that spirit of generosity will be on full display as the community gathers to support Malcolm Boudreaux. A benefit fundraiser is scheduled for this Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the American Legion Post 208, located at 5461 Joe Courville Road in Vinton.

The event is being organized to help offset medical expenses as Boudreaux continues his recovery from traumatic brain injuries sustained in a recent incident.
Doors will open at 11:00 a.m., with a full day of activities planned to raise funds and show support. Guests can enjoy jambalaya plate lunches for $10 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until sold out, along with a bake sale featuring homemade treats.

Throughout the day, attendees can participate in a silent auction running from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a live auction beginning at 5:00 p.m., split-the-pot drawings, and additional games.

Adding to the day's festivities, Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition will take the stage at 1:00 p.m. to provide live entertainment. Attendees can expect a setlist filled with classic Louisiana dancehall staples, which include Louisiana Swamp Pop and oldies.
Those unable to attend can still help by making a monetary contribution at Merchants & Farmers Bank under the account name "Malcolm Boudreaux Benefit." The event serves as another reminder that when someone in Southwest Louisiana needs help, the community answers the call.
