Former Jennings Star Finds New Home
Former Jennings High School star Trevor Etienne has found a new home to play college football.
Trevor Etienne attended Jennings High School. During his high school career, Etienne rushed for 2,455 yards and 34 touchdowns. As a senior, he recorded 1,344 rushing yards along with 20 touchdowns and was named to the All-American Bowl Roster. Etienne was the No. 18 overall player available in the 247Sports transfer portal rankings and is the brother of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne. He racked up 700 yards on the ground the last two seasons and was Florida's team's leader in rushing touchdowns (8) in 2023.
After two seasons in Florida, Etienne looks like he will be heading to play for College Football powerhouse Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia will lose its top two rushers with seniors Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton both moving on. Etienne will be an immediate help and will join Cash Jones, Branson Robinson, and Len'Neth Whitehead in the backfield in 2024.
