Former Nashville Star Winner Buddy Jewell In Kinder This Friday
The first-ever winner of the hit country music singing competition, Nashville Star, Buddy Jewell is coming to Southwest Louisiana this Friday night.
Nashville Star aired for five seasons on the USA network, with its last season airing on NBC. The show spawned many huge country stars. Chris Young won season four, while artists like Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and David St. Romain all were on the show.
Buddy Jewell won the first season of Nashville Star in 2003. MIranda Lambert came in third.
Buddy came out with some big hits right after winning the show. His first release was a song called Help Pour Out The Rain (Lacey's Song), followed by Sweet Southern Comfort.
You can see him live this Friday night at Coushatta Casino Resort in the Mikko Center. The show starts at 9:00pm and entry is free.
