Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - The Fourth of July will be here before we know it, and it's never too early to start making plans for the Holiday. We've created a list of things going on around SWLA.

The Fourth of July is one of the best holidays of the year, because it allows families and friends to come together for a good time, whether that's swimming in the lake or pool, grilling, drinking, or just settling down to watch some fireworks.

JULY 3RD

• Red, White, and Boom - Moss Bluff Rec - 6 to 9 p.m. at 256 Jones Road in Moss Bluff.
• Fireworks at the Family Place - Trinity Baptist Church

JULY 4TH:

• Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators Baseball - FREE ADMISSION @ 7 PM
• Red, White, Blue, and You Celebration - Lake Charles Event Center at the Lake
• Lake Area Runners 4MILER ON THE 4TH OF JULY
• Let The Sparks Fly at the Golden Nugget's Rush Lounge
• BOOM BOOM - 4th of July Blowout Show @ Panorama
• Fourth Fest - DeRidder

JULY 5TH:

• Jellystone Park with Fireworks & Brad Brinkley
• Dugas Landing 4th of July Fishing Rodeo
