Friday Night’s McNeese Block Party Moved Inside
McNeese fans, get ready for an exciting football season! The popular Cowboy Block Party is back but with a twist for this Friday night. Due to impending weather, the event has been moved inside the McNeese Legacy Center.
The Cowboy Block Party is a tradition every Friday night before home games, bringing fans, students, and the community together for a night of fun, music, and excitement. This free event is open to all ages, making it a perfect way to kick off the weekend.
Typically held outdoors in the Grove, the Block Party is known for its lively atmosphere, packed with McNeese fans, food trucks, and top-notch live music. However, this week’s event will take place indoors, ensuring the fun continues without interruptions.
This week, the band Three-Thirty-Seven will be performing. The doors will open at 6:00 pm, and the music starts at 7:00 pm. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Though the event will be inside, there is NO CHANGE! Fans are encouraged to bring their chairs, and favorite beverages, whether they’re alcoholic or non-alcoholic, to enjoy the party.
*Attendees will be able to bring their own drinks but ice chests will not be allowed in the arena.*
The Cowboy Block Party is brought to you by Lake Charles Toyota, the McNeese Athletic Foundation (MAF), and Deep South Productions.
