Gator 99.5 Voted Best Radio Station For 7th Year In A Row
We found out a few weeks ago but now we can let the cat out of the bag. The 2024 version of The Best Of from Laganippe Magazine just came out and you voted Gator 99.5 the best radio station in Southwest Louisiana.
This is the seventh year in a row that we have received this huge honor from you, our listeners and we can't thank you enough. Gator 99.5 is truly your local hometown radio station as all the talents on the station are born and raised here in Southwest Louisiana.
Our morning show is truly a hometown show. Mike Soileau was born and raised here in Lake Charles and went to LaGrange High School and McNeese State University. Scotty is from Sulphur and went to Sulphur High School.
Chaston who is your host in the afternoons was born and raised in DeRidder, LA. He graduated from Rosepine High School in 2018 and attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
Your weekend warrior Patrick Frey was born and raised in Eunice, Louisiana went to Eunice High School, and also got his Masters degree from McNeese State University. He is the smartest one of us all LOL.
