Golden Hooks Seafood, Chicken, and Po’Boys has quickly made a name for itself in Southwest Louisiana. The first location opened inside the old Church’s Fried Chicken building at 3505 Ryan Street, just south of the I-210 overpass in Lake Charles. Just recently, they opened a new location on the opposite side of the city, over on Highway 14 in Lake Charles.

The restaurant’s menu offers a mix of seafood and southern classics, including fish and shrimp po’boys, chicken sandwiches, fried chicken, shrimp, green salads, chicken tenders, and both regular and jumbo chicken wings. Its flavorful offerings and generous portions have earned it a loyal following.

Golden Hooks Expanding To DeRidder, Louisiana

It looks like Golden Hooks will be expanding here in the Southwest Louisiana area, as it was announced on Sunday by Mayor Michael Harris that DeRidder will be getting the third location! The DeRidder area has been on the come-up as they recently opened a brand new Starbucks right on the main drag.

The location in DeRidder will be at 812 N Pine Street. If you're familiar with the DeRidder area, that means it will be located in the old KFC building next to the Los Mayas Mexican restaurant.
