Golden Nugget Lake Charles Hosts Drew Baldridge Concert
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Country music fans in Southwest Louisiana will have another big concert to look forward to as rising Nashville star Drew Baldridge makes his way to Lake Charles for a live performance this weekend at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles Grand Event Center, this Saturday, July 25, 2026.
The Illinois native has built his career through determination and persistence. Early releases and independent projects introduced him to country audiences, but his breakout single, "Dance With Ya," helped establish him as one of Nashville's emerging talents. His debut album, Dirt on Us, followed in 2016, leading to national tours alongside country stars including Lee Brice and Cole Swindell.
Baldridge's journey took an unexpected turn in 2019 when his record label closed its doors. Rather than waiting for another opportunity, he launched his own label, Lyric Ridge, and continued making music on his own terms.

That decision paid off in a major way. His heartfelt song "She's Somebody's Daughter" gained momentum through social media before becoming a country radio success, reaching the Billboard Country Airplay Top 40 and earning No. 1 positions on several country radio charts.
The achievement made Baldridge one of the few independent artists in recent years to compete with major-label acts. Now, Southwest Louisiana fans will have the chance to see him perform those hits live during what promises to be an exciting night of country music in Lake Charles.
