Grand Opening Set for New McNeese Team Store

McNeese State University is excited to announce the grand opening of the brand-new McNeese Team Store! We've got all of the information you need to know!!

The McNeese Team Store will offer a great selection of team apparel, merchandise, and spirit wear to help students, alumni, and fans show off their #PokePride. More than just a store, this opening represents an important step in rebuilding the campus after the devastating hurricanes of 2020.

This special event will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at 501 E. Sale Rd.

The celebration doesn’t stop there! Fans can also take part in the Community Grand Opening Event on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at the same location. This family-friendly event will feature Rowdy, the Cowgirl Kickers, and members of the Cowboy Football team. Guests can take photos, enjoy cake, and participate in fun photo opportunities.

Attendees will also have a chance to win free tickets to the McNeese men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader against the Islanders at the Legacy Center later that day. Plus, fans who spend $99 or more at the Team Store during the grand opening will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last.
