Lake Charles, Louisiana - As the summer is coming to a close, your chances to see the Gumbeaux Gators this year are getting slimmer. If you haven't been out to a game yet, here's a prime opportunity this week. The Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators are hosting another FREE ADMISSION night on Tuesday, July 14th, and it is for a fantastic cause.

The Gators have had a pretty solid year under 1st-year Gator Head Coach James Landreneau. The Gators are xx-xx and have been playing really well here in the second half of the season. They have been playing some of their best baseball lately, going 7-3 over their last 10 games

If you're not familiar with how the Texas Collegiate League works, the top two teams from the first half of the season automatically qualify for the playoffs, and the two best teams from the second half of the season qualify for the playoffs. At the end of the season, those four teams will matchup for the Championship.

Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators Hosting Free Admission Night on July 14th

The Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators will host a FREE ADMISSION night on Tuesday, July 14th as a part of STRIKE OUT CANCER NIGHT. The free admission night is courtesy of Christus Ochsner. They will celebrate remission and the fight by inviting all survivors and survivors to walk the bases in the second inning of the game.
