Do you know why fans call Hank "Bocephus"? Hank Williams Jr. is nicknamed Bocephus because his father gave him the nickname when he was a kid. Reports say it came from a funny character on an old radio show. The name stuck, and fans still use it today as a sign of respect.
During his career, Hank Williams Jr. has had over 100 songs appear on the Billboard country charts. Ten of those songs reached No. 1. Some of his most popular hits include “Family Tradition,” “A Country Boy Can Survive,” and “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.”
