According to 12 News Now, this past Sunday, shortly after an off duty Beaumont police officer spotted a reportedly stolen 2018 Nissan traveling eastbound on I-10 over the Neches bridge, Vidor police and Texas State Troopers caught up to the vehicle and proceeded to turn on their emergency lights. Once the driver spotted the lights, he started to slow down as if to stop, but then sped up.

The driver then took police on a high speed chase from Texas into Louisiana. Sulphur police and Louisiana State Troopers decided to lay out road spikes. However, even with flat tires, the driver seemed determined to get away, continuing down I-10 to the 210 loop, where the vehicle exited toward the casino.

But wait, there's more. The vehicle then drove up to the Golden Nugget, where the driver got out of the vehicle and ran inside. According to Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll, he then ran into one of the casinos restaurants where police were able to catch him and take him into custody.

The suspect, Quinton Dezoh Watts, was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Facility.
