Houston Astros Clinch AL West Title With 100th Win Last Night

For the second year in a row, the Houston Astros have accomplished two great milestones.

The Astros just won their 100th game for the second straight year.  They also just clinched the American League West divisional championship for the second year in a row.

The Astros beat the Blue Jays 4-1 to clinch their division and win their 100th game.  Houston is 100-57 on the 2018 season.

They have secured a home field advantage for the AAL divisional round against the Cleveland Indians.  That series will get underway on October 5th at Minute Maid ballpark in Houston.
