I-10 Westbound Currently Closed By Lacassine, Louisiana

Breaking news to report out of the Lacassine area in Southwest Louisiana. Police are currently working on an accident on I-10 Westbound between Highway 165 and the Lacassine exits on the interstate.

An 18-wheeler car hauler has flipped over on its side and all the cars that were on top of the hauler have spilled over onto the interstate as well as the big truck is on its side too.

Our friends at KPLC TV posted this photo of the accident.

Officials have closed down I-10 Westbound as you can see from the traffic map above. There is no time frame reported yet on how long the interstate will be closed down.
