If You Want To Watch The LSU Game This Saturday, You Better Get Up Early
Two words LSU football fans hate to hear are "Early Game". Louisiana folks consider Saturdays during college football as a holiday and love to have the entire day to prepare for the game.
Louisiana football fans take pride in tailgating at the games or cooking all day at their homes while inviting everybody to watch that game. Most of the time, LSU plays at night, especially in Baton Rouge, but when the Tigers hit the road, we and the team are at the mercy of national television and what time they want to air the games.
Such is the case this Saturday, September 14th, 2024 when LSU travels to Columbia, South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks. The Tigers are coming off a 44-21 win over Nicholls which evened their record to 1-1 on the season.
The South Carolina Gamecocks traveled to Kentucky last Saturday and faced off against the Wildcats beating them 31-6 to improve to 2-0 on the season. So the Tigers are going to face off against the undefeated Gamecocks this Saturday and the game has a real early start time.
ESPN's College Gameday will be in Columbia broadcasting its popular college football pregame show that morning starting at 8:00 am Central time on ESPN. We are sure they will be talking with both the LSU and South Carolina coaches and featuring some players from both teams.
Now as for the game, the game will kick off at the crack of dawn in LSU fan's opinions as the game starts at 11:00 am. The game will be televised nationally on ABC. Can you hear that? The collective YUK by Tigers fans.
