Inaugural Christmas In Westlake, Louisiana Set For Dec. 9
Looking to get into the holiday spirit? Looking for something fun to do with the entire family? We have just the thing for you. The city of Westlake, Louisiana is getting ready to hold its Inaugural Christmas In Westlake at its city hall.
Earlier this year in October, the city of Westlake held its inaugural West Fest where Mayor Hal McMillin and the entire city council brought a cool new festival for the Westlake and Southwest Louisiana area where you could bring the entire family. The festival featured live music, a petting zoo, food vendors, and arts and crafts vendors.
The event also featured local Westlake native artists performing live on stage for the attendees. It was a great time and attended by many. Now the city is ready to bring the community back together but this time for Christmas.
The Inaugural Christmas In Westlake will take place at city hall located at 1001 Mulberry Street in Westlake, Louisiana. The event is on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Christmas event will feature a Car Show, a Gumbo Cook-Off, Vendors, and Food Trucks. The big attraction will be the big man himself, Santa Claus who will be on hand to meet and greet all the children and you have the opportunity to have your child or family take a photo with Santa too.
The event is free for the entire family and open to the public, not just Westlake residents. So make plans to stop by on December 9th and meet Santa and enjoy some great food and live music.
